Head Start Reapplication Instructions

For Child Applicant

  • Birth record (if available)
  • Immunization record (required, unless child is homeless)
  • Disability documentation (IFSP or IEP, if applicable)
  • Custody, adoption, guardianship, court orders (if applicable)

Note: Let us know if you need assistance accessing your child’s immunization record.

For Family Income

Documentation depends on your situation, including:

  • Benefit letter for TANF/SSI recipients
  • Foster placement letter and license for foster children
  • Detailed documentation for families experiencing homelessness
  • For others: last 12 months of income from all sources, such as tax forms, pay stubs, and child support records

How to Provide Documents

  • Bring to our office at 1100 E 8th Street, Reno NV 89512 during office hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday)
  • Upload online through our secure portal or receive a secure link by calling our enrollment office
  • For security, please do not email personal documents
